Hello and welcome back to Earth from Tesla Cloud nine :) I drive my little black bullet-shaped Honda Civic coupe for 10 years now, no complaints. I love my car. There's no back camera or those little side mirror signals indicating that there is a car in the blind spot. I don't really care. Spotify works just fine over Bluetooth. Nice gadgets are nice, but what about the environmental impacts of producing Tesla batteries? Nobody seems to be talking about that. This, paired with the fact that the govt is so heavily pushing electric right now would be enough to raise some concerns for me. Is it reminiscent of the early 20th century when car manufacturers pushed for replacing train tracks with freeways to sell more cars? Judges are still out, but I really did enjoy reading your post. Tessa-Tesla, so cute! Anywho, I've been thinking of switching my Honda for something more of a status vehicle (I work in tech, too), but if I do it, which I might not even bother to, it will likely be a Porsche or Jag. Tesla might have beautiful tech, but these two bad boys have beautiful car craftsmanship that spans centuries. I'm also remote, so hopefully not too much environmental impact from driving that massive 8-cyl engine for a bit each day.
